| TRISH LENIHAN, FOUNDER & DIRECTOR
From Hollywood to Moscow, the rodeo arena to
foreign embassies, Trish has spoken and sung
wherever the opportunity presented itself. She is
as comfortable on the back of a horse as on a
platform before thousands.
As a singer from childhood, and a deep love for theatre, Trish set her sights
on Broadway. While singing her way back east she had an encounter with the
Lord Jesus Christ and put her life in His hands. There was a sudden change of
direction. Within eight days she was on staff at World Wide Pictures, the
motion picture division of the Billy Graham Association, and later held a
position with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Assn. She then became Junior
High Club Director and Girls' Lifeline director of Youth For Christ. In 1968 she
became a National Representative for Christian Women's Clubs of America
and for many years traveled full time ministering in nearly every state in this
country, as well as seven others. In 1980 Trish pioneered a new work
establishing Circle C Ranch, a Christian Guest Ranch and a Bible Conference
Center, on a part of the ranch she was raised on. It began as a youth work
offering Bible rodeo clinics and Bible horsemanship camps as well as family
Bible conferences know as Roundups.
For many years Trish served on the Board of Directors for both the Miss
Rodeo America and Miss Rodeo North Dakota pageants. She also ministered
at the pageants as well as at the Cheyene Frontier Days, the National Western
in Denver, the National Finals Rodeo, the National High School Finals Rodeo and the National Little Britches Rodeo Finals.
Following a vocal chord injury, ministry at the ranch was put on hold as Trish
went to Los Angeles. During the healing process, Trish worked as an extra in
movies and television shows such as Murder She Wrote, L.A. Law, and the
made-for-TV movie Thanksgiving Day with Mary Tyler Moore. There she had
numerous opportunities to share her faith one on one.
Now, having returned to the ranch she conducts seminars, conferences, God
& Country Rallies (evangelistic outreaches on horseback complete with
covered wagon) and takes as many outside speaking and singing
engagements as possible.
Through the years, Trish has recorded three country gospel albums. Following
the September 11th terrorist attack on our nation, she made a special
recording of just two songs, one of patriotism,
God Bless America Again, and the other of healing for the soul, "Stronger
Than Before." Tapes of these songs were sent to Mayor Rudolph Giuliani,
Governor George Petaki, the President and First Lady, the Vice President, the
entire cabinet, all U.S. Senators, and the ranking member from each state to
the U.S. House of Representatives.
Comfortable ministering in churches of all denominations, her favorite place
to minister is outside the church walls.
